Monilaria globosa

Monilaria globosa Riethuis These are small shrubs with interceptions at the nodes of the stem, dividing it into short rounded or slightly elongated granule-like sections. The stems are quite succulent, similar. Like mitrophyllum, monilari leaves are of two types: short and long. The small, fused almost entirely, very succulent leaves of the first type are almost a single rounded body. The second pair of leaves, tearing the apex of the primary body, fused only at the very base, have two apices somewhat resembling hare’s ears. The epidermis is covered with special structures-growths of water-containing cells.
