Edithcolea grandis

A very rare succulent plant of the Lastovye family. It blooms with huge, up to 13 cm in diameter, beautiful, unusually colored flowers. In Kenya Edithcolea is called a “piece of the Persian carpet.

Strongly branched, loping or semi-loping, gray-green, or with a darker irregular pattern in the sun, the shoots reach 30 cm in length with a diameter of 1.5-2.5 cm. Grown as indoor crop on windows (except for northern ones). Looks impressive in ceramic cachepots, in home succulent or stony gardens.
